Healing starts with feeling safe. I am dedicated to creating an affirming and inclusive space for people of all genders, sexual orientations, and identities.
Most traditional therapy models—especially in couples work—were developed within a narrow cultural context that centered heterosexual, monogamous, and privileged experiences.
While these models offer valuable tools, they often overlook the unique experiences of queer relationships and non-traditional structures, leaving many clients feeling unseen. As a queer immigrant therapist, I’m passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and those living at the wider margins of our world.
I provide affirming therapy for individuals and couples practicing ethical non-monogamy (ENM), polyamory, or exploring relationship structures outside traditional norms. My role isn’t to define how your relationships should look, but to create a space where your choices, values, and identities are respected.
I actively engage in ongoing training and communities of practice that adapt and expand existing models to be more inclusive. By reworking Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to reflect diverse relationships and identities, I strive to make therapy a place of genuine safety and affirmation.
My Approach
-
You don’t need to explain or defend your identity. Together we explore the complexities of family, identity, and relationships, with affirmation at the center.
-
I help you navigate communication, boundary-setting, jealousy, and connection with respect for the structures you’ve chosen. My focus is on strengthening your bonds, not imposing outside assumptions.
-
Therapy with me is about finding your voice, building security in your connections, and dismantling shame rooted in rigid ideas of what relationships are “supposed” to look like.
