Healing starts with feeling safe. I am dedicated to creating an affirming and inclusive space for people of all genders, sexual orientations, and identities.

Many of the most widely used therapy models—especially in couples therapy—were created with a narrow lens: heterosexual, monogamous relationships, designed largely by people of privilege.

While these models offer valuable tools, they can overlook the unique challenges of queer relationships and non-traditional structures, leaving many clients feeling unrepresented. As a queer therapist, it is a passion of mine to support the LGBTQIA+ community.

I also provide affirming therapy for individuals and couples practicing ethical non-monogamy (ENM), polyamory, or exploring relationship structures outside of traditional norms. My role is not to tell you how your relationships “should” look, but to create a space where your choices, values, and identities are respected.

I actively seek out ongoing trainings and communities of practice that rework these models, making them more inclusive and responsive. By adapting Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to diverse relationships and identities, I aim to ensure therapy is a place of safety and affirmation.

My Approach

  • You don’t need to explain or defend your identity. Together we explore the complexities of family, identity, and relationships, with affirmation at the center.

  • I help you navigate communication, boundary-setting, jealousy, and connection with respect for the structures you’ve chosen. My focus is on strengthening your bonds, not imposing outside assumptions.

  • Therapy with me is about finding your voice, building security in your connections, and dismantling shame rooted in rigid ideas of what relationships are “supposed” to look like.
